First Assembly Church Gulfport

The sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross and His resurrection from the dead opened the way for us to have life and  more abundantly. (I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.  John 10:10)

God cares for us and wants us to give Him our cares. (Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7 )

We are given the invitation to "come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy (compassion), and find grace to help in time of need" (Hebrews 4:16).

Instead of worrying everyday, take your needs to the Lord.  When you pray remember to tell God the things that you are thankful for;  this will take you into His presence where you can experience His peace. (Do not worry about anything; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.  Philippians 4:6-7)

We at First Assembly Gulfport would like to pray with you if you share your prayer requests with us.                                Our Prayer Group will be praying over your requests on Tuesday mornings.
