Brother Seymour’s secular employment in the Marine oil-producing industry took him to many parts of the world, England, The Netherlands, North Sea, Middle East, Persian Gulf, Mexico, Gulf of Mexico, and Santa Barbara Channel, California.  He achieved the rank of Captain of the High Seas.  For nine years he managed the largest Marine equipment program in the world, covering a territory from West Africa to the Philippines and Alaska, to Tierra Del Feugo Islands, South America..
